Dealer service manager turned me away and refused to
Dealer service manager turned me away and refused to perform preventative maintenance on my C8, even though I was willing to pay for it. He said the car needed 7,000 miles before they would service the transmission. Meanwhile, the owner's manual specifically states on page 304 that the transmission fluid must be changed after 3 years regardless of mileage. I guarantee if I have transmission problems later, they'll have no problem pointing to that exact maintenance requirement while refusing a warranty claim and accepting zero responsibility for refusing to perform the service. Fortunately, we have some ties to the Regional Service Manager who oversees this dealership. We'll see what they think.
